Prostitution is legal in Costa Rica. Sex tourism is a huge part of the country’s income. This not only includes men and women, but also children who are enslaved in this industry. These people live in complete darkness, unable to see the redemption that is only found in Christ Jesus.
The Redeem Costa Rica mission is founded and led by Rachel Bowden, a woman with a heart for Costa Rica. The goal of the mission is to give the men and women in prostitution in Costa Rica, repeated opportunities to hear the Gospel. Through her missionary efforts, Rachel is working to bring the message “Redemption is Possible” to these individuals.
The MissionTo be a missionary to Costa Rica, Rachel must reach a goal of $2,800/month to support herself and the ministry. She hopes to apply for and obtain residency after the first year.
